Elegance and science combined, Urbanariums bring you closer than ever to the natural life cycle of exotic plant life. Inspired by his extensive firsthand experience with plants in both their native and man made habitats, Dale Cheveldeff composed threads of high technology, superior craftsmanship, and natural materials to create the original Urbanarium.
Each case displays a wonderland of plant life using rare, unusual, lush and beautiful plants that have been painstakingly chosen from around the world. A living landscape is captured and sustained for your viewing pleasure. Since each case is designed for the experience of observation, you will witness growth stages of exotic plants flowering at different intervals and revealing new life in process.
The most striking quality is not just the vibrant plants that add to your space and quality of life, but the technology that keeps them monitored and continually flourishing. The state of the art computer was designed to precisely calculate humidity and temperature necessary to keep the exact habitat conditions they need to stay healthy and flourish. Internal misting, fog, automatic lights and temperature allow this system to sustain itself and function with very minimal maintenance.
Each piece is an experience of life and beauty that adds ambiance and pleasure to any space, whether residential or commercial. They are educational, inspiring, and fascinating to observe.
Urbanariums are available in three standard sizes for display wall mounted or free standing. Each piece is original, with a unique composition of plants. Custom sizes and compositions are welcome. Details regarding concierge maintenance service and installation will be discussed during the consultation.
